This Privacy Policy explains how MTZCK LTD handles information in relation to the MTZCK Vault mobile application for iOS and Android.
MTZCK Vault is designed with a privacy-first approach. The app is built so that vault data is stored locally on the user’s device and is not transmitted to MTZCK servers.
By using the app, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy.

2. Scope of this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the MTZCK Vault mobile application and related support communications.
It explains what information the app processes, what information it does not collect, how your data is protected, and your privacy rights.
3. Privacy-first design
MTZCK Vault is designed so that the sensitive information you store in the app remains on your device.
The app does not send your vault content to MTZCK.
The app does not use external servers to store your vault data.
The app does not automatically sync your vault to cloud services.
MTZCK does not have access to the contents of your vault.
4. Information stored in the app
The app allows users to store sensitive information such as:
• personal details
• passport information
• ID card data
• driving licence information
• addresses
• phone numbers
• email account details
• social media login details
• medical account details
• secure private notes
This information is stored locally on your device in encrypted form.
5. Information we do not collect
MTZCK Vault does not collect personal data from within the app in the ordinary use of the vault.
In particular, we do not collect:
• user account data
• usernames
• passwords for login to MTZCK services
• social login data
• email addresses through the app
• analytics data
• tracking data
• advertising identifiers
• profiling data
• vault content stored by the user
The company does not have direct access to the data you enter into the app.
6. Security and encryption
We take privacy and security seriously.
MTZCK Vault uses security measures that may include:
• PIN protection
• AES-256 encryption
• encrypted local storage
These measures are intended to help protect your data against unauthorised access on your device.
However, no method of storage or device security can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for protecting your PIN, passwords, and backup credentials.
7. Backup and restore
The app may allow you to create encrypted backups of your vault.
When you create a backup:
• the backup is exported as an encrypted file
• the backup may be saved locally or in a cloud storage service selected by you
• the backup can only be restored using the backup password or recovery credentials set by you
MTZCK does not receive, store, or access your backup files.
If you choose to store your encrypted backup with a third-party cloud provider, your use of that provider is governed by its own terms and privacy policy.
8. Subscriptions and payment data
The app may offer premium features through paid subscriptions.
Payments are processed exclusively through:
• Apple App Store
• Google Play Store
MTZCK does not process payment card details directly and does not store your full payment card information.
The app uses RevenueCat solely for subscription management and entitlement verification. This means RevenueCat may process limited purchase-related information necessary to determine whether a premium subscription is active and to help restore purchases across the relevant platform environment.
Purchase processing and billing are subject to the policies of Apple and Google.
9. Third-party services
The app uses a limited number of third-party services only where necessary for app functionality related to subscriptions.
These may include:
• Apple App Store
• Google Play Store
• RevenueCat
The app does not use third-party analytics, tracking, advertising SDKs, or profiling tools based on the information you provided for MTZCK Vault.
10. Support communications
If you contact us by email for support, privacy questions, or legal requests, we may process the information you provide in your message, such as:
• your email address
• your name if included
• the details of your request
• technical information you choose to share with us
We use this information only to respond to your request, provide support, and maintain support records where necessary.
11. Legal basis for processing
Where UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, our legal bases for processing limited personal data such as support emails and subscription-related administration are:
• performance of a contract, where processing is necessary to provide support or app-related services
• compliance with legal obligations
• legitimate interests, such as responding to user enquiries, preventing misuse, and maintaining records necessary for support and legal compliance
Because MTZCK Vault is designed not to collect vault content from users, most sensitive information stored by the user remains outside MTZCK’s direct processing activities.
12. Data retention
Because the app stores vault data locally on your device, MTZCK does not retain that vault data on company servers.
If you contact us by email, we may retain support communications for as long as reasonably necessary to:
• respond to your enquiry
• resolve disputes
• comply with legal obligations
• maintain appropriate business records
Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the request.
13. International transfers
MTZCK is based in the United Kingdom.
If you contact us or if subscription-related information is processed through third-party providers such as Apple, Google, or RevenueCat, your information may be processed in countries outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area.
Where required, we take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
14. Children’s privacy
MTZCK Vault is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the app. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us through support communications, please contact us and we will review the matter.
15. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may have rights in relation to your personal data, including the right to:
• request access to personal data we hold about you
• request correction of inaccurate data

Please note that MTZCK cannot provide access to or delete vault content stored only on your own device, because we do not possess or control that content.

You are responsible for:
• keeping your device secure
• protecting your PIN and backup password
• maintaining secure backups if you choose to create them
• understanding the risks of storing backup files with third-party cloud services chosen by you
If you lose your device or forget your credentials, MTZCK may be unable to recover your vault data.
17. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect legal, technical, or operational changes.
The updated version will be posted on mtzck.com and may also be linked within the app under Privacy & Legal.
